 Joyful Adornments....................
is the creative outlet of flamework glass artist Bonnie Scott of Odessa, NY. Her glass studio and gift gallery are nestled in the hills surrounding Seneca Lake right in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region.
Bonnie has been working with glass since 2004. She creates on-of-a-kind flamework glass beads that are available as finished jewelry designs or loose beads.
She is best known for her original design glass spool beads and glass buttons and most recently for "Wear a Memory" Jewelry made from recycled special event wine bottles.
A woman of many talents, Bonnie's background in creative arts runs the gamut from quilt making, painting and entertaining her friends to a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from the Ithaca School of Music and frequent performances as a soloist in area churches.
Her equally wide range of professional activities includes development of the Ensemble Music Library Program at Ithaca College and Independent Business Leadership experience with the Longaberger Company as well as the study and teaching of the somatic movement training method developed by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais.
Bonnie continues to be inspired by her studies with nationally and internationally known glass and silver artists such as Jen Zitkov, Loren Stump, Jayne Persico, Caitlin Hyde, Heather Trimlett and silver artists Celie Fago and Martha Bigger.
Bonnie's Original Design Glass Spool Beads have been popular since first created in 2008. These beads have been published in "Quilter's Home" March 2009, "Quiltmaker" March/April 2010, "Quilting & Embroidery" Spring 2010 and the American Sewing Guild's Private Newsletter "Notions" Summer 2010.

Make-A-Bead Come and make a bead, no experience necessary. Only appropriate for ages 10 and up. Cost is $15.00 per person. Call for an appointment.
Flamework Bead Lessons Schedule 4, two-hour lessons for $120.00 prepaid and includes free use of the studio materials and equipment. Only appropriate for ages 10 and up. No experience necessary. Call for appointment.
